Traditional beef curry from kerala. Here is recipe for you all to try.

Heat oil in a pressure cooker on medium flame. Add the sliced onions and saute for a minute. Add finely chopped shallots, garlic, ginger and green chilli, saute for 2 minutes. Now add chopped tomato and cook till it become soft.
Mean while take a small pan and add coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, kashmiri chilli powder, black pepper powder and garam masala powder roast them in low flame. Add few curry leaves , stir till the spices are aromatic. Please take care not to burn them.. Keep it in low flame and roast. Keep it aside.
Now add this roasted masala mix in to the pressure cooker and saute well for a minute. Now add beef pieces and few coriander leaves. Add salt. Combine well. Cover and pressure cook on high for the 2 whistles , then reduce the flame and cook for another 6 to 7 whistles. Once the pressure goes off open and check salt. If need add accordingly. Put few curry leaves and chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Serve with warm rice or roti.
NB: This curry is bit hot and spicy, you can adjust chilli powder and all according to your taste. It goes well with ghee rice. Enjoy cooking..
