Mushroom with cardamom and pepper.

Mushroom with Cardamom and Black pepper, its a mild and flavourful curry and quick to prepare. Here is recipe for you all to try.


  • Mushroom 1 cup
  • Onion 2 medium size, sliced
  • Tomato 1 large, chopped
  • Green Chilli 4 nos, chopped
  • Cardamom 8 nos, crushed
  • Pepper Powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • Salt
  • All purpose flour 2 tbsp
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Fresh Cream 2 tsp
  • Coconut Oil 2 tbsp

Heat a nonstick sauce pan with oil on medium flame, add sliced onion and saute for 2 minutes. Now add chopped green chilli and saute for few seconds. Add chopped tomato and saute till it become soft. Now add all purpose flour and saute till it combines. Add milk now and mix well. Add sliced mushroom and crushed cardamom and mix well. Keep it in low flame and let it boil. Cover and cook till the mushrooms are cooked. Stir in between. Add pepper and salt mix well. Put off flame once gravy thickness and mushrooms are cooked. Now add fresh cream and serve with roti or appam. 

NB: You can adjust pepper and green chilli according to your taste. Enjoy cooking..
