Mutta Surka

Mutta Surka, its a famous Malabar delicacy. Its a tea time snack made out of egg and rice. Here is simple mutta surka recipe for you all to try.



Ingredients
  • Raw Rice 1 cup
  • Boiled Rice 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Egg 2 nos
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Oil

Method

Wash and soak rice for 5 to 6 hours. In a mixer or grinder, grind all the ingredients using water without lumps. It must be a thick batter like Idli batter.
Heat oil in a kadai and pour 1 tbsp batter and fry both sides. Fry in low flame only. Mutta surkas are ready to serve. Serve with varutharacha chicken curry or mutton stew.
