Omelet Wrap

Omelet Wrap, Egg wrap with Spinach, Cherry tomato and fresh mozzarella for a perfect for breakfast or pack it into your lunch box or serve for a quick snack or dinner. The choice of ingredients can be any vegetables or greens you like. Its kid friendly recipe. Here is recipe for you all to try.

  • Wrap 4 nos
  • Egg 3 nos
  • Capsicum 1/2 chopped 
  • Cheddar Cheese 2 slice / Mozzarella Cheese 2 thin slices
  • Spinach 1 cup, Chopped 
  • Cherry Tomato 1/2 cup, sliced
  • Garlic 1 clove, crushed
  • Green chilli 1 chopped
  • Pepper Powder 1/4 tsp
  • Salt
  • Oil

Take a large bowl and beat egg with salt and pepper and keep it aside. In a pan heat oil add garlic, green chilli, capsicum and saute for 2 minutes. Add the spinach and saute for 1 minute until the spinach has wilted down. Remove this sauted ingredients to a bow. 

Reheat the same pan and add cherry tomatoes, saute for a minute until slightly soft. Add back the spinach mixture and stir well. Add the beaten eggs. 

Use a spatula and push back the eggs from the sides and allow to cook like an omelette. Set the heat to low and play the mozzarella or cheddar slices. Cover with a lid and cook until cheese on top is melted Once done divide the prepared omelet into 4 wedges. 

Next warm the tortillas / wraps on a girdle or pan, you can optionally butter or olive the tortillas and cook for few minutes. One the tortillas are warm, remove from the pan and place a slice of the eggs and fold in the sides to make a wrap. Serve this healthy wrap.
