Maple Glazed Salmon

Yum
Maple glazed salmon is a healthy and super simple dish. My husband also likes salmon dishes, so I try to make once a week. This is one of my new favourite ways to prepare salmon. I love the layer coats on the top of the fish and the flavour it brings. Here is recipe for you all to try.

Ingredients

  • Salmon Fillet 500gm
  • Paprika Powder 1 tsp
  • Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli Flakes 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Powder 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger Powder 1/4 tsp
  • Brown Sugar 1/2 tsp
  • Maple Syrup 2 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Cooking spray / Oil

Method

Pre heat oven to 200 degree C for 10 minutes. Combine ingredients and then rub the flesh side of the salmon with skin side down. Spray baking tray or apply oil in the baking tray and lay salmon in the tray.

Reduce oven temperature into 180 degree C and bake salmon fillet for 7 to 8 minutes. Brush the fillet evenly with marinade syrup and bake for 1 more minute. Remove from oven and keep it for 2 to 4 minutes. Then serve warm with blanched beans and mash potatoes.

NB: If you don't want to keep it in the oven, can roast in the pan. Heat pan in medium heat then add little butter or olive oil then keep the salmon fillet cover and cook for 2 minutes, then open and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on low flame. Enjoy cooking..
