Greek salad is made with pieces of tomatoes, cucumber slices, onion, feta cheese and olives ( usually Kalamata Olives). Its a quick and easy to make salad. Here is a refreshing greek salad recipe for you all to try.
- Cucumber 2 nos, peeled and chopped
- Tomatoes 2 nos, Roma, chopped
- Purple Onion 1 small one, sliced
- Olive Oil 1/4 cup
- Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
- Oregano 2 tsp, dried
- Feta Cheese 1/2 cup, crumbled
- Black Olive / Green Olives few, sliced
- Pepper Powder 1/4 tsp
- Salt
Method
In a large bowl, combine cucumbers, tomatoes and onions. In a small bowl mix the olive oil, lemon juice and dried oregano. Pour over the vegetables and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle feta cheese and olives over the top of salad and mix well. Taste and adjust the salt and pepper, add if needed. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
NB: Here I used green olives didn't had black olives. But i feel black olives is good for this salad. Enjoy cooking..
