Lassi is a yogurt smoothie that Indians love. Here is refreshing and power packed lassi with Avocado and Kiwi. Its a classic drink and good for summer. Sugar has been replaced by honey. Here is recipe for you all to try.
Ingredients
- Avocado 1 small one
- Kiwi 1
- Curd / Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Honey 2 tbsp
- Cumin Powder 1/4 tsp
- Water 1/4 cup
- Salt a pinch
- Ice Cubes few
Method
Use a sharp knife from the top of an Avocado in a circular motion. Slightly twist the avocado and separate the halves. Remove the seed and discard it. Now using a spoon, scoop out the flesh of the avocado and place in a bowl.
Peel 1 kiwi and roughly chop and add to the avocado. Pour honey , cumin powder and yogurt. Add a few ice cubes, water and a pinch of salt, use a hand blender, pulse until smooth. Serve cold immediately. Sprinkle some cumin powder on top while serving.
NB: If you want can add sugar instead of honey. Use soft avocados for this recipe. The measurement above is for one tall glass lassi. If your Avocado is big then use half avocado for this recipe. Enjoy cooking..
