Chilli Beef, its very simple to prepare and tastes too good. If you love spicy food, this is must try.
- Beef 1 kg cut into small cubes
- Garlic 1 pod chopped
- Fennel Seeds 1 tsp
- Red Chilli Flakes 2 tbsp + 2 tbsp
- Curry Leaves
- Dry Red Chilli 2
- Vinegar 1 tbsp (optional)
- Salt
- Garam Masala 1 tsp
- Coconut Oil
Method
Wash and chop beef into small sized cubes, drain and keep it aside.
Grind garlic and fennel seeds make a smooth paste and keep it aside.
Marinate beef with garlic fennel paste, 2 tbsp chilli flakes, salt and vinegar. Keep it for 30 minutes.
Now take a pressure cooker put marinated beef and cook for 2 to 4 whistle. You can add very little water while boiling. Cook on a medium flame till the meat is tender. When it done or the pressure settled down open the cooker and cook uncovered in a medium low flame till all water in it is evaporated and beef pieces become almost dry.
Meanwhile heat a pan with coconut oil add the dry red chilli and curry leaves saute for couple of minutes . Now add cooked beef pieces and combine well and roast over medium -low fire till it turns dark brown in colour. Just check salt and chilli, and add salt if required. Now put garam masala powder and 2 tbsp chilli flakes and stir well. Add little more curry leaves and combine well. Roast for 1 more minute and put off flame. Serve hot with Parotta, Kappa and Roti. Enjoy.
NB: If you want can add sliced and fried coconut pieces in it. If you want to reduce the spiciness cut down the amount of chilli flakes.
