Chilli Beef, its very simple to prepare and tastes too good. If you love spicy food, this is must try.

Ingredients
  • Beef 1 kg cut into small cubes
  • Garlic 1 pod chopped
  • Fennel Seeds 1 tsp
  • Red Chilli Flakes 2 tbsp + 2 tbsp
  • Curry Leaves
  • Dry Red Chilli 2
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp (optional)
  • Salt
  • Garam Masala 1 tsp
  • Coconut Oil

Method

Wash and chop beef into small sized cubes, drain and keep it aside.

Grind garlic and fennel seeds make a smooth paste and keep it aside.

Marinate beef with garlic fennel paste, 2 tbsp chilli flakes, salt and vinegar. Keep it for 30 minutes.

Now take a pressure cooker put marinated beef and cook for 2 to 4 whistle. You can add very little water while boiling. Cook on a medium flame till the meat is tender. When it done or the pressure settled down open the cooker and cook uncovered in a medium low flame till all water in it is evaporated and beef pieces become almost dry.

Meanwhile heat a pan with coconut oil add the dry red chilli and curry leaves saute for couple of minutes . Now add cooked beef pieces and combine well and roast over medium -low fire till it turns dark brown in colour. Just check salt and chilli, and add salt if required. Now put garam masala powder and 2 tbsp chilli flakes and stir well. Add little more curry leaves and combine well. Roast for 1 more minute and put off flame. Serve hot with Parotta, Kappa and Roti. Enjoy.

NB: If you want can add sliced and fried coconut pieces in it. If you want to reduce the spiciness cut down the amount of chilli flakes.
