Chicken Pakoda.

Chicken Pakoda, is a fried snack. Excellent and delicious recipe for you all to try.


Ingredients
  • Chicken breast – 250 gram 
  • Red chili powder – ½ tsp + ¼ tsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
  • Pepper Powder 1/4 tsp
  • Crushed ginger – garlic – 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice – ¼ tsp
  • Rice flour – 1 tbsp
  • All Purpose Flour 1 to 2 tbsp
  • Onion – 1, medium size sliced thinly
  • Green chili – 2, (finely chopped)
  • Garam masala powder – ¼ tsp
  • Curry leaves – 5 – 6
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Salt – to taste
  • Water – 2 - 3 tbsp
  • Oil – for deep frying
Method

Clean and Marinate the chicken breast with 1/4 tsp red chili powder, turmeric powder, crushed ginger garlic, lemon juice and little salt for 10 minutes. Then add very little water and boil for 6 to 8 minutes, till it become soft. Keep it aside.

In a deep bowl, combine together all purpose flour, rice flour, sliced onion, green chili and mix well. 

To this add 1/2 red chili powder, garam masala powder, curry leaves, coriander leaves and little salt and mix well. 

Now shred the boiled chicken and add to this and mix well. Add egg and combine well.

Heat oil in a deep pan. When the oil is medium hot, add the chicken mix and fry it on low flame till done (do not fry the chicken mix in very hot oil, otherwise it will get browned outside easily and inside will remain uncooked). Serve hot.
