Simple and easy side dish that can be made really quickly. You can serve this as a side dish for a good meal or for a Sadya on auspicious day. Here is recipe for you all to try.
- Ladies Finger / Okra 15 nos, chopped into thin rounds
- Coconut 1/2 cup
- Curd 1/2 cup
- Green Chilli 2 + 2, chopped
- Ginger small piece, chopped
- Mustard Seeds 1 tsp
- Dry Red Chilli 2 nos
- Curry Leaves 2 sprigs
- Salt
- Coconut Oil 3 tbsp
Method
Heat oil in a pan or kadai and add the ladies finger fry till gets crispy and golden. It will take around 10 to 12 minutes. Now add chopped ginger and green chilli saute well.
Mean time grind coconut with 2 green chilli into smooth paste. Pour this into a bowl and add curd into this and mix well. Add salt and mix well and keep it aside. Add the fried ladies finger and mix well.
Heat oil in a small pan and splutter mustard seeds, dry red chilli and curry leaves. Pour this over the mixture and mix well. Serve this with rice. Enjoy cooking..
