Spicy Chicken Balls

Hot and spicy chicken balls, its crispy out side and soft inside, good for an evening party appetizer. Here I deep fried the chicken balls, if you like can grill these balls for a healthy version. But you get the full flavour when you deep fry them. Serve as a snack or as a side dish with rice. Here is recipe for you all to try.



Ingredients
  • Chicken 500gm, boneless pieces
  • Onion 1 large, chopped finely
  • Green Chilli 8 nos
  • Dry Red Chilli 5 nos
  • Ginger 1 medium size piece, chopped
  • Garlic 10 cloves
  • Coriander Leaves 1/2 cup , chopped
  • Cumin Seeds 2 tsp
  • Cinnamon Stick 1 medium size piece
  • Coriander Seeds 2 tbsp
  • Cardamom 2 nos
  • Cloves 5 nos
  • Black Pepper 1 tsp
  • Cashew nuts 15nos
  • Salt
  • Oil
Method

Heat a pan with 1 tbsp of oil and add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, red chilli and cash nut stir for 1 minute or until it leaves aroma. Be careful not to burn the spices. Keep it aside to cool down. 

Clean and drain the boneless chicken pieces and keep it aside. Take a mixer or grinder and first grind the roasted ingredients along with garlic, ginger and green chilli to a coarse paste. Next add the chopped onion, coriander leaves, chicken and salt and grind further to form a smooth paste. Add a tablespoon of oil to the ground mixture and mix thoroughly and start making lemon sized balls. You can apply little on you r palm and make balls. 

Heat oil for deep frying the balls. Once the oil hot enough , reduce flame into medium and place these balls in the oil and fry them to a crisp, golden brown colour. Serve hot with tomato sauce or with green chutney. 

NB: Green and Red chilli add according to your spice level. If you like can add little mint leaves also. You can grill this chicken balls for a healthy choice. Enjoy cooking..
