Grilled salmon is the tastiest dish with Salmon fish, no other dish can beat this flavourful and healthy meal. Salmon is considered to be healthy due to the fish’s high protein, high omega-3 fatty acids and high vitamin D content. So here is recipe for you all to try.
- Salmon Fillets 500gm
- Garlic 2 cloves, chopped finely
- Ginger small piece, chopped finely
- Red Chilli Powder a pinch
- Turmeric Powder a pinch
- Black Pepper crushed 1tsp
- Lemon Juice 1 tsp
- Olive Oil
Take a large size bowl and mix together chopped garlic, chopped ginger, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, crushed black pepper, lemon juice, olive oil and salt. Stir well until combined.
Clean and slice fillets so that each piece of meat is about 2 inches wide. Place the salmon slices into the above mixed marinade, skinless side down and allow them to marinate for about 20 to 30 minutes.
Pre heat oven, keep temperature into 200 degree C for 5 minutes. Reduce temperature into 180 degree C. Put fillets onto the heated grill or you can arrange them in a nonstick tray and keep it for grilling. Grill for about 10 minutes. When done carefully flip fillets over and grill for 5 minutes. Its ready to serve now. I have served with grilled cherry tomatoes (wash and pat dry the cherry tomatoes, mix with little olive oil, salt, black pepper powder, rose mary and oregano mix well and grill it for 3 to 5 minutes). I made one simple cheesy black pepper sauce ( in a sauce pan put 1 tbsp of butter, once it melts add 2 tbsp of flour and stir well, once the raw smell goes away add 1 tbsp of milk, 1 tsp of cream cheese, black pepper powder and salt, combine well) also.
NB: Instead of lemon juice you can use little soya sauce and a pinch of brown sugar while marinating the salmon fillets. I have made salmon baked in foil, you can try this recipe too. Enjoy cooking..
