Sweet Plantain Patties

A healthy and simple snack.

  • Ripe Plantains 3 steamed
  • Coconut 1/2 cup grated
  • Sugar 3 tbsp
  • Cardamom Powder 1/4 tsp
  • Ghee 3 to 4 tbsp


Steam plantain and once its cool remove skin and mash them, mix coconut, sugar and cardamom along with mashed plantain and make shape like patties. 

Heat a nonstick tawa in medium flame and add ghee shallow fry patties both sides. Serve with tea or coffee. Good snack for kids.
