Pan roasted brussels, by pan roasting the brussels until golden brown, the natural sweetness of the vegetable is enhanced creating a delicious side dish. This recipe is very simple so you all can try it out.
- Brussel Sprouts 250gm
- Olive Oil 2 tbsp
- Garlic 5 cloves, chopped
- Green chilli 3 nos, slitted
- Black Pepper Powder 1 tsp
- Salt
Method
Brussels rinse with water nicely. Remove the outer two leaves and slice in half. In a medium size pan heat olive oil over medium low heat and add chopped garlic and saute for 1 minute and add green chilies and saute for few seconds. Then place brussel sprouts flat side down in the pan. Cook until the sprouts become golden brown on one side. Turn over the brussel sprouts and cook until tender. Add salt and black pepper powder and stir well. If need add little more olive oil and combine well. Put off the flame and serve warm with Rice or Roti. You can have this like a starter for evening party.
NB: If you like cheese, then add mozzarella cubes or grated parmesan cheese before serving. Enjoy cooking..
