Garlic Chutney

Spicy garlic chutney with coconut. Here is recipe for you all to try.




Ingredients

  • Garlic Cloves 10 nos, chopped
  • Dry Red chilli 5 to 6nos
  • Coconut 1/2 cup , grated
  • Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Tamerind one lemon size
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Water 1/4 cup

Method

Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan, when the oil is hot add chopped garlic and saute for a minute on low flame. Transfer sauted garlic into the plate . Put red chilli on the same pan and saute for 1 minute. Transfer them in a plate. Just keep sauted garlic and dry red chilli to cool for 3 minutes. Take a grinder jar and add grated coconut, cumin seeds, salt, tamarind, sauted garlic and sauted red chilli. Grind them to a medium coarse paste. Serve this chutney with Idli, Dosa and warm rice.
