Omelet Chapati, a simple and healthy dish for quick breakfast or an evening snack with left over chapatis. Kids will love this dish. Here is recipe for you all to try.
- Chapati 4 to 5 nos
- Egg 2 nos
- Green chilli 2 nos, chopped
- Onion 1 medium size, chopped
- Coriander Leaves few, chopped
- Pepper Powder 1/4 tsp
- Salt
- Oil/ Butter
Method
Take a medium size bowl and whip egg adding salt, pepper powder, chopped onion, green chilli and coriander leaves.
Heat the chapati pan with little butter, once the butter melts place the chapati on the pan and pour the egg mix on the side and spread well. . Flip over the chapati and cook, do the other chapatis also in the same way till the egg mix gets over.
NB: If you like more omelet taste with chapati, pour the egg mix on both side of chapatis and cook. That also good for kids. I just did only one side of the chapati. If you want little more colourful, add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder in the egg mix. Enjoy cooking.
