Baked Brocoli Tots

If you are a lover of brocoli, then these are for you, If you are not, well you still might like them because the flavour of the brocoli is not over - powering. So here is simple and tasty baked brocoli tots recipe for you all to try.

  • Brocoli 1 medium size 
  • Onion 1 medium size, chopped
  • Cheddar Cheese 1/4 cup, grated
  • Bread Crumbs 1/2 cup
  • Parsley 1 tbsp, chopped
  • Oregano 1/4 tsp
  • Rosemary 1/4 tsp
  • Egg 1 
  • Salt
  • Pepper Powder 1 tsp

Preheat oven to 200 degree C. Grease a baking sheet with a thin layer of oil or line with a butter paper and keep it aside. 

Blanch brocoli in boiling water for 1 minute then remove and keep in cold water to stop the cooking process. Then drain water well. 

Chop brocoli finely and mix throughly with the egg, onions, cheddar, bread crumbs, parsley, oregano, rosemary, pepper powder and salt. Now take a table spoon of mix and gently press between your hands into an oval shape or other shape which you like. Please wash your hands after every few to keep them from sticking onto your hands. Place on your prepared baking sheet. Bake until golden brown and crispy, 20 -25 minutes, turning half way. Remove from the oven and enjoy hot with ketch up, or your favourite dipping sauce. 

NB: If you don't get parsley add coriander leaves. Enjoy cooking..
