Potato Friteres / Potato Bajji (Aloo Bajji)

Aloo Bajji , is a quick and easy snack which can be prepared in 15 to 20 minutes. Here is recipe for you all to try.

  • Potatoes 3 nos
  • Gram Flour 1 cup
  • Turmeric Powder a pinch
  • Chilly Powder 1/4 tsp
  • Asafoetida a pinch
  • Baking Soda a pinch
  • Oil For frying
Clean and peel potatoes, cut into round slices, wash and rinse with water, then soak in salt water for 10 minutes, then drain water.
Mix together gram flour with salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder and pinch of baking soda to dosa better consistency.
Take sliced potatoes and dip them in to the gram flour batter, deep fry in hot oil.
Serve hot with tomato sauce or mint chutney. 

NB: You can squeeze little lemon juice before eating.
