Oats Banana Strawberry Smoothie, its creamy, filling and delicious smoothie to start the morning. I used almond milk in this recipe, if you want can use cows milk, thats good for kids . So this is more of a balanced and filling smoothie with greek yogurt, you get some protein and oats, you get whole grain. If you want to cut out calories from this, then just add some more milk and make. If you want can add some more strawberries also in this smoothie. Here is recipe or you all to try.
- Oats 2 tbsp
- Greek Yogurt / Full cream Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Almond Milk / full cream milk 1 cup
- Strawberries 6 nos
- Banana 1 large ripe one
- Honey 1 tbsp
- Vanila extract / essence
Cook oats in 3/4 cup of water until thick and keep aside it to cool. Now add all above ingredients to a blender cover and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
NB: if you dont want to cook the oats, just dry roast oats and blend with other ingredients. If you like can add one more tbsp of honey into this. Enjoy cooking..
