- Dragon Fruit 1
- Lime Juice 1 tbsp
- Simple Syrup 1 1/2 tbsp to 2 tbsp
- Ice Cubes
- Plain Soda
Method
Rinse dragon fruit with water and half the fruit then scoop the flesh into a blender , process until smooth. Strain the pulp through a fine mesh squeeze well it with a spoon. Discard the solids.
Take a tall glass with few ice cubes, now add 2 tbsp of dragon fruit pulp. Now add 1 tbsp of simple syrup and 1/2 tbsp of freshly squeezed lime juice. top with plain soda, stirring gently to combine. Serve with some fresh mint leaves on top.
To make simple syrup
Take a medium size sauce pan and boil equal parts (1cup sugar and 1 cup water) white sugar and water over medium flame , stir until sugar is completely disolved. Once its boil for one minute and bubble starts coming then remove from heat and let it cool before using.
NB: If you dont have plain soda use write or 7 up instead, then reduce the use of lemon juice. Please adjust sugar according to your taste. Enjoy cooking..
