Chicken Tikka Balls

Chicken Tikka Balls, easy and quick grilled snack for an evening party or a family get together. I have served this last weekend at our home get together with friends and everyone liked it. Its flavorful and mild spiced chicken balls. You can serve this with any dip or sauce which you like. I have tried earlier spicy chicken balls , that also good if you like more spicy😊. So here is recipe for chicken tikka balls for you all to try. 


Ingredients
  • Boneless Chicken 500gm
  • Red Onion 1 medium size chopped
  • Garlic 2 cloves, chopped 
  • Green Chilli 1 nos, finely chopped
  • Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder a pinch
  • Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala Powder 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Yellow Capsicum 1 half one, chopped finely
  • Coriander Leaves 2 tbsp, chopped finely
  • Yogurt 1 tbsp
  • Cream 1tsp
  • Salt
Method

You can use minced chicken also for this recipe. I used chicken breast, so clean and chop chicken breast into small pieces drain water well and keep it aside. 

Take a medium size bowl and add chopped onion, garlic chopped, green chili, chopped yellow capsicum, and chopped coriander leaves. Combine everything well and keep it aside. 

Now take food processor and put chopped chicken pieces in it, put red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder and salt. Now process for few seconds, please dont make it too smooth. If you dont have a food processor please use normal blender. 

Now pour this chicken mix into the bowl where we mixed onion and kept. Add yogurt and cream into it and combine everything well. If you want can add some salt also. 

Using your hands, mould the mixture into small balls, until the mixture gets over. Now keep this chicken balls into the fridge for 30 minutes. 

Pre heat your oven into 200 degree C for 5 minutes. Select grill mode. Once its preheated reduce temperature into 180 degree C. Now keep chicken balls into the hot grill and cook for 6 to 8 minutes each side. Please take care not to burn. Serve hot with your choice of sauce or chutney. 

NB: You can prepare the chicken balls previous day and keep it in the fridge over night and grill next day, it tastes good. Adjust spices according to your taste. Enjoy Cooking..
