Grape Juice

Yum
Its very easy to make fresh grape juice at home without a juicer, you can use a normal blender to make this. Grapes are rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin A , Vitamin K and B complex, provides portection against viral and fungal infections. If the grape is very sweet then no need to add sugar. Here I used Catawba Grapes, it was juicy and sweet, i used very little sugar for this juice. To get the maximum nutrients from grape juice, it is best to drink immediately. So here is recipe for you all to try.

Ingredients
  • Grapes 2 cups, sweet black grapes or red grapes
  • Water 1 1/2 cup
  • Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
  • Sugar 1/4 cup
  • Ice Cubes few
Method

Wash and rinse grapes in the running water to remove dirt and pesticides from the skin. Remove stem and keep it aside.

Heat a medium size sauce pan with 1 1/2 cup water on medium flame. Add sugar and grapes in it and just boil together. Once its boiled remove from the flame and keep it aside to cool down.

Now take a blender and add this grapes mix in it and blend until smooth. Place a large sieve or strainer over a large bowl and pour this juice over it. Press the pulp gently to get the maximum juice out of it. Add the lemon juice in it and mix well. Now take a tall glass and add few ice cubes and pour over juice and serve immediately. If you feel the juice is very thick then add some more water in it while serving.

NB: Sugar please adjust according to your taste. If you dont want to use sugar can omit that. You may think why to boil the fresh grapes, you can use fresh grapes as it is but i like to boil them first and make juice because some grapes skin is very thick so once we boil it will be soft and tastes good. You can keep this juice in the refrigerator for 2 days. Enjoy cooking..
