Creamy Spaghetti With Mushroom and Carrots

Creamy spaghetti with mushroom and carrots, very easy and quick dish to make for a quick dinner. Its a flavorfull dish with Italian spices and garlic. If you want to add some extra flavoures then can add some chopped fresh parsley also. I have added 1/2 cup cream only for this dish. If you want can add some more cream so that you get nice smoothy creamy texture. So here is recipe for you all to try. 

  • Spaghetti 250 gm
  • Mushroom ( chestnut or button ) 1 cup, sliced
  • Carrot 1 medium size, sliced
  • Shallots few, chopped
  • Garlic 2 cloves, chopped
  • Italian Spice mix 2 tsp
  • Olive Oil 2 to 4 tbsp
  • Parmesan Cheese grated few for serving
  • Fresh Cream / Whipping Cream 1/2 cup
  • Pepper Powder a pinch
  • Salt

Take a large pot with water and  a pinch of salt, heat on medium flame and cook the spaghetti according to packet instructions. 

Heat a big size fry pan with olive oil on medium flame. Once the oil is hot enough add chopped garlic and saute for few seconds. Add shallots and saute for few seconds. Now add sliced carrots and mushroom and saute for 4 to 5 minutes on medium low flame. Now add Italian spices, pepper and salt, saute for few seconds. Add cream now and combine everything well. Now add cooked spaghetti and toss to coat everything well. Serve immediately sprinkled with parmesan cheese. Enjoy..

NB: If you dont want to use olive oil can use butter. If you dont have italian spice mix then add some origano, rose marry and chili flakes. Enjoy cooking.
