Lebanese Style Chicken Livers

Lebanese Style Chicken Livers, very simple and flavorful dish. I think everyone likes Lebanese cuisine, I like so tried this and came out well so thought of sharing recipe with you all. I have posted middle eastern style chicken liver recipe earlier.

  • Chicken Livers 250gm
  • Garlic Cloves 6 to 8 nos, crushed
  • Dried Mint or Fresh Mint Leaves 1 1/2 tsp
  • Cayanne Pepper or Red Chili Powder 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
  • Olive Oil 5 tbsp
  • Parsley Leaves / Coriander Leaves 1 tsp, chopped
  • Salt
Clean and cut chicken livers into equal sizes, remove if any fat and wash and drain water well. Keep it aside.

Take a medium size bowl and put crushed garlic, dried mint, cayenne pepper and olive oil. Add chicken livers in it and combine everything well. Cover and keep it in the fridge for 1 hour to marinate well. 

Heat a frying pan on medium heat and pour the marinated chicken livers into the pan. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Open the lid and add salt and saute well until is well cooked. Now add lemon juice and combine well. Cook for 1 more minute then put off flame. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves or parsley leaves and serve with pita bread. 

NB: If you feel not that spicy then add some black pepper in it. Leaves and flavoures please adjust according to your taste. Enjoy cooking..
