Hibiscus Tea

Yum
Hibiscus herbal tea is just a delicious beverage. I like hibiscus tea,  love the color and the tangy taste of the tea. Below is brief description about hibiscus tea which I collected from google.

The health benefits of hibiscus tea are what make it so special. Hibiscus tea is made from the deep magenta sepals of the roselle flower, and is thought to be native to Africa. It is consumed in the Caribbean, Mexico, China, and Europe. In fact, the Pharaohs of ancient Egypt once enjoyed hibiscus tea as well! In Egypt and Sudan, hibiscus tea has long been used during wedding toasts.

It is important to note that there are 232 species of hibiscus, and not all of them are used for tea or healing. For instance, the Hibiscus sabdariffa plant should not be confused with other hibiscus species, such as the non-medicinal Hibiscus acetosella. The traditional hibiscus tea plant has yellow flowers and a red center. The Hibiscus ascetosella has red flowers. That dried petals are used for making tea.

Hibiscus tea is extremely good for your health. It reduces high Blood Pressure, helps lower Cholesterol,Beneficial Tea for Diabetics, offers Liver Protection, Anti-cancer Properties, relieve symptoms of Anxiety and Depression, Benefits Weight Loss, improves Digestion, helps boost the Immune System, helps improve Skin Conditions.

In the picture which I showed the hibiscus flower its the normal hibiscus flower which generally we keep in our garden that is not the one which we are using to make this tea. I just kept as a symbol.

Although there are plenty of health benefits of hibiscus tea, it is best to consult with your family doctor before using the herbal tea. So here is spiced Hibiscus Tea recipe for you all to try.
