Chia Seed Pudding with Strawberry Sauce, its a healthy breakfast or for simple desert. I think you all knew about health benefits of chia seeds, it has protein, fibre, calcium, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus and vitamin b2. It has high Omega -3 fatty acids also. - Chia Seeds 4 tbsp
- Almond Milk 1 cup
- Hazelnut Paste 2 1/2 tbsp
- Cocopowder / Chocolate Powder 1 tbsp
- Mapple syrup 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 tbsp
- Vanila Essence 1 tsp
For the Strawberry Sauce
- Strawberry 150 gm, chopped
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Lemon juice 1 tsp
- Sugar 2 to 3 tbsp
- Maple Syrup 1tsp
Method
Take a blender and add chia seeds, almond milk, hazelnut chocolate paste, apple syrup and vanilla essence and blend well. Remove and pour into a container and keep it in the fridge for 3 to 4 hours or overnight.
You can make starwberry sauce now. Heat a pan on medium flame and add butter once its melts add chopped strawberries and saute for few seconds. Add sugar now and saute well until the sugar melts and combine well with strawberries. Now add maple syrup and lemon juice, mix well. Stir well until the sauce thickens. Once its ready remove from fire and keep it aside to cool down.
Now take a bowl or glass add chilled chia seed pudding 2 tbsp then 1 tbsp of strawberry sauce, you can make layers like this until the chia seed mix and strawberry sauce gets over. Keep it in the fridge for 10 minutes to get set this then serve.
NB: I have used Hazelnut paste for this recipe, you can use almond paste or cashew nut paste instead. If you dont want to use cocopowder then omit that. If you are not having almond milk please use normal milk. Enjoy cooking..
