Almonds Dates Ladu With Coconut

Almonds dates ladu with coconut,its delicious and rich sweet recipe for  Diwali. Its very simple and we need only minimum ingredients for this and it won't take much time to make this. So everyone can prepare this. We liked the taste and all the flavoures are proper and its yummy. So here is recipe for you all to try this during this festive season.




Ingredients
  • Almonds 1 cup (blanched)
  • Dates 1 cup (finely chopped)
  • Sugar 3/4 to 1 cup
  • Desiccated Coconut 1 cup
  • Cardamom Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Rose Water 1 tsp
  • Ghee 1 tsp
Method

Take a medium size pan and keep it on medium flame and dry roast blanched almonds evenly until you get the aroma. Keep this aside to cool down. In the same pan add desiccated coconut and just roast for few seconds and keep it aside. If you are using fresh grated coconut then dry roast few minutes until the coconut get dry properly please take care not to burn them keep it in a low flame and roast.  Now add 1 tsp of ghee in the pan and add chopped dates and roast for few seconds and keep it aside to cool down. 

In a blender add roasted almonds and roasted coconut and make a powder and set this aside. Now add sugar in the blender powder it finely. Now add powdered coconut and almond mix and cardamom powder in it and blend well. Now add roasted dates and blend everything together until this get warm up and the mix looks oily. Now add rose water and blend everything well. Remove mixture in a plate and and roll them to ladu. Dip in desiccated coconut and roll it again and keep some almond slices on top and keep this to get set for 30 minutes then serve. 

NB: If you want can use some other roasted nuts also along with this i just want to keep the almonds and dates flavor so didn't add. Please roll the mix once its warm else it will be difficult to roll them, else put them again in the blender and make it warm and roll it. Using above ingredients i got 12 medium size ladoos. Keep this ladu in the airtight container so that it stays for a week, If you want to keep for more days then please keep them in the refrigerater. Enjoy cooking..
