Pineapple Bars

Pineapple Bars, simple and happy desert. It has full of pineapple bits and the flavour is just perfect. Its not just the desert, you can eat it all the time. Here is recipe for you all to try.

  • Butter 1/2 cup, softened
  • Eggs 2 nos
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • All Purpose Flour 3/4 cup
  • Baking Soda 1/4 tsp
  • Vanila Essence one drop
  • Pineapple 1 1/4 cup, crushed
  • Salt a pinch
  • Powdered Sugar for garnish 

Take a large bowl and put butter and mix with mixer, now add sugar and mix well. Add eggs now and beat well. Add in flour, baking soda and a pinch of salt. Mix well. Add crushed pineapple stir gently and combine well. If more juice is coming out from crushed pineapple just drain few juice and add in the mix. 

Pre heat oven to 200 degree C for 8 minutes. Grease 8*8 or 9*9 square pan. Spread the mix into the pan and bake in 180 degree C for 25 to 30 minutes until done. Allow to cool for 15 minutes. 

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into squares and serve.

NB: I used fresh pineapple, if you don't ge fresh once you can use canned once also, drain water well and use the pineapple pieces. But I suggest fresh pineapple because of the aroma and flavour of fresh pineapple. Enjoy cooking..
