Pasta With Minced Beef Sauce

Pasta with minced beef sauce, its a great and flavorful meal. Italian cuisine is one of my favorite cuisine, always have stock of pasta and other Iatlian seasonings, sauces etc.. This is the first time i tried pasta with minced meat and I liked it. Here I used Orecchiette pasta, brought from Italy. Orecchiette, from the Italian words "orecchio" (ear) and "etto" (small), is an ear-shaped pasta originating in the beautiful southern region of Italy. If you dont get that please use any other pasta which you have. Here is recipe for you all to try.





Ingredients
  • Pasta 250gm 
  • Minced Beef 500gm
  • Garlic 3 cloves, chopped
  • Green Chili 2 nos, chopped
  • Chilli Flakes 1 tsp to 2 tsp
  • Garlic Flakes 1 tsp
  • Onion 1 big , chopped
  • Italian Seasoning 2 tsp
  • Tomato Paste 100gm
  • Cherry Tmoteos 1 1/2 cup, halved 
  • Basil Leaves few fresh once, chopped
  • Black Pepper 1/2 tsp Crushed
  • Sugar a pinch
  • Salt
  • Olive Oil
  • Water 1 to 1 1/2 cup

Method

Take a large sauce pot with enough water and keep it on medium flame. Once the water is boiling add 1 tsp of salt and few drops of olive oil. Now add pasta and cook according to packet instructions or until its cooked. Please cook pasta uncovered. Once its cooked drain water and keep it aside. 

Take a medium sauce pan or a pressure cooker and keep it on medium flame. Once the pot is hot add olive oil. Now add chopped garlic and saute for few seconds, now add chopped onion and saute for 2 minutes. Now add chopped green chili and saute for few seconds. Add Italian seasoning, dried garlic flakes, chili flakes, crushed pepper and salt. Saute for few seconds. Now add tomato paste and saute for few seconds. Add fresh cherry tomatoes and saute for 1 minute. Now add ground beef and mix everything well. Add 1 cup water cover and cook until beef is cooked and sauce thicken. If you are cooking in a pressure cooker then keep for 2 to 3 whistles and remove from flame and keep it aside. 

Take a skillet and keep it on a medium flame and add 1 tsp of olive oil and add cooked minced beef sauce and stir well. Add chopped basil leaves and a pinch of sugar, combine everything well. Please check salt if need add accordingly. Now add cooked pasta in it and mix everything well. Put off flame and remove from fire and keep it aside. Serve warm.

NB: Here I used mixed Italian season mix, if you dont have that then use, dried oregano, dried basil, dried rosemary and thyme. I used fresh cherry tomatoes for this recipe, if you dont have that then use noramal fresh tomatoes or canned chunky tomatoes. Enjoy cooking..
