Potato salad with the South African touch. The secret ingredient is condensed milk😊. This salad goes well with South Africans Brais. This is good to make on this summer in SA. Here is recipe for you all to try.

- Potato 2 medium sizes
- Egg 1
- White / Green onion 1 bunch, chopped
- Sweetened Condensed milk 1/4 cup
- Mayonnaise 1 1/2 tbsp
- Parsley 1 tbsp, finely chopped
- Salt a pinch
Method
Place egg in a small sauce pan and cover with water and a pinch of salt. Bring to boil and cook for 8 minutes. Remove egg and keep it aside to cool.
In a medium size sauce pan add potatoes and water bring to boil and cook for 15 minutes or until a knife is easily inserted, but they are not too soft. Drain and cool.
Take a large serving bowl, peel and chop the eggs. Stir in green or white onions. When the potatoes have cool down a bit, peel and chop then add them to the bowl.
Pour in the sweetened condensed milk and stir in the mayonnaise. sprinkle parsley over top . Chill until serving. This is best served chilled.
NB: You can serve as per above ingredients for 3 people. If you want can add chopped baked garlic cloves in this recipe. Enjoy cooking
