Oats Banana Walnut Smoothie

Oats Banana Walnut Smoothie, its very simple and healthy smoothie to prepare on a busy day for breakfast. If you are having this for breakfast you feel whole day energetic and active. So here is quick and easy recipe for you all to try.


Ingredients
  • Oats 2 tbsp
  • Banana 1 ( remove peel and cut into 3 pieces)
  • Milk 3/4 cup
  • Yogurt 1/4 cup plain, medium fat one 
  • Honey 2 to 3 tsp
  • Walnuts few chopped
Method

Cook oats in 1/2 cup of water and keep aside to cool. 

In a blender, combine cooked oats, 1/2 milk, yogurt, honey, chopped banana and blend it until smooth. Add remaining milk and few chopped walnuts and blend again. 

Serve chilled and sprinkle few chopped walnuts on top. 

NB: Here I used 1 Chiquita banana you can use normal small banana, if its too small then use 2 small bananas. If you are in a hurry and no time to cook and cool the oats, then dry roast the oats and powder it and use instead. Enjoy cooking..
