Tandoori Baby Potato / Tandoori Aloo

Tandoori Aloo, another popular tandoori dish. Its a great starter or snack for any occasion. Here is recipe for you all to try.



Ingredients
  • Baby Potatoes 10 to 14
  • Curd 1/2 cup
  • Cashew paste 2 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1/2 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Kasuri Methi/ dry fenugreek leaves 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Oil
Method

Rinse baby potatoes with water well. Don't peel them. Put this in a pressure cooker and cook for 1 to 2 whistle, once its cools down halve them into two.

Mix other ingredients with yogurt except oil. Now marinate the baby potatoes with this yogurt mix and keep for 1 hour in the fridge. 

Pre heat oven in 200 degree C for 5 minutes. Take a pan and apply little oil and bake the marinated baby potatoes with some oil drizzled for 20 to 25 minutes for 180 degree C. 

Sprinkle some salt and lemon juice while serving. 

NB: If you like red colour for this dish, then add kashmiri chilli powder. You can serve this with mint chutney or tomatoe ketch up. If you have an air frier you can fry this in that. You can make this with regular potatoes too. Enjoy cooking..
