Raw Banana and Carrot Thoran, healthy side dish for a meal. Here is recipe for you all to try.
- Carrot 3 nos, cut into medium size cubes
- Raw Plantain 1, cut into medium size cubes
- Green chilli 3 nos, slited
- Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
- Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
- Dry red chilli 2 nos
- Water
- Salt
- Oil
Method
Cut and clean raw banana and carrot, heat a pan on medium flame put carrot, banana and green chilli along with salt and turmeric powder with some water, cover and cook till carrot and raw banana are soft. Once its cooked check salt if need add accordingly, add grated coconut and mix well. Stir well till the water evaporates and get dry. Heat another small pan with oil and splutter mustard seeds and dry red chilli, pour this over carrot and banana mix, stir well. Switch off flame and serve with warm rice.
