Chicken Manchurian, it can be served as a side dish for fried rice. This will be kids favourite, sweet , spicy and tangy. Here is recipe for you all to try.
Clean and cut chicken into medium size pieces. Grind ginger, garlic, green chilli pepper corns to a fine paste and keep it aside. Now marinate chicken with ground paste , soy sauce, chilli powder, salt, cornflour and rice flour. Mix everything well with the chicken and keep it in the fridge for 1 hour.
After 1 hour remove marinated chicken from the fridge, heat oil in a kadai, when it gets heated deep fry the chicken pieces till golden brown and crisp and keep aside.
Heat sesame oil in a pan , when its heated add finely chopped garlic , diced onion and stir fry well. Now add diced capsicum and spring onion saute for a minute and stir fry well. Now add chilli sauce, tomato sauce soy sauce, pepper powder and salt stir well. Then add cornflour water and mix well and cook the sauce in medium flame for a minute and then add the fried chicken pieces. Saute the chicken well with the sauce and cook in medium heat for 2 minutes.
When all the chicken pieces are coated well with the sauce and turns shiny switch off the flame. Garnish with spring onion and coriander leaves . Its ready to serve now.
NB: While marinating the chicken you can add one egg. If you don't want to use corn flour in the sauce you can omit that. Enjoy cooking.

- Chicken 1 kg, cut into medium size pieces

- Kashmiri chilli powder 1/2 tsp
- Corn flour 1 tsp
- Rice flour 1/2 tsp
To grind
- Ginger 2 inch piece
- Garlic 6 cloves
- Green Chilli 2
- Pepper Corns 1/4 tsp

For the sauce
- Sesame Oil / Sunflower Oil 1 tbsp
- Garlic 3 cloves , chopped
- Spring Onion 2 tbsp , chopped
- Onion 2 medium , diced
- Capsicum / Bell Pepper 1/2 cup diced( green and yellow )
- Chilli sauce 1/2 tsp
- Tomatoe sauce 1/2 tbsp
- Soya sauce 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder
- Kashmiri Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
- Water
- Corn flour 1 tsp
- Salt
To garnish
- Spring Onion 1 tsp , chopped
- Coriander Leaves , 1 tsp chopped
