South Indian style Radish chutney, here is recipe for you all to try.
- Radish 2, grated
- Red chilli 2 nos
- Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
- Coriander Seeds 2 tsp
- Mustard Seeds 1 tsp
- Curry Leaves 2 sprigs
- Tamerind Paste 2 tsp
- Salt
Method
Put 1 tsp oil in a pan and heat, put grated radish in it and fry for 5 minutes till radish is cooked. Add cumin seeds, dry red chilli, 1 sprig curry leaves and coriander leaves. Keep it aside for 10 minutes. Then put it in a mixer and add tamarind paste and salt, grind as a smooth paste. Remove and keep it in a bowl. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves, once its ready pour on top of the chutney and mix well and serve with idli, dosa or rice.
